Interim Financial Accountant - Intercompany

Location: Maidenhead, 2-3 days per week initially, with increased remote working once up to speed
Duration: ASAP to 31 December 2026
Rate: £400-£600 per day Outside IR35

I am looking for a specialist Interim Financial Accountant to lead intercompany remediation across a growing multi-entity, multi-currency infrastructure group. The role will reconcile the position, clear mismatches and build a repeatable intercompany process.

The current intercompany process is manual, error-prone and not supported by a reliable cadence. You will move the business from annual audit clean-up to a controlled process covering mapping, recharges, settlement and FX.

• Reconcile intercompany across the group and clear mismatches.
• Resolve issues identified through cashbook and balance sheet work streams.
• Build a repeatable process for mapping, recharges, settlement and FX.
• Assess existing ERP consolidation and partial automation.
• Coordinate with statutory accounts to support clean entity close.
• Document and hand over the process to BAU.

You will be a senior accountant with strong multi-entity, multi-currency intercompany and consolidation experience. The role requires someone who has previously taken intercompany from a manual, unreconciled position to a controlled, repeatable process.

• Extensive intercompany reconciliation experience.
• Strong consolidation experience, ideally multi-currency.
• Experience resolving intercompany issues caused by growth, FX and manual processes.
• Ability to design repeatable intercompany processes.
• Advanced Excel and strong stakeholder coordination skills.

This is a specialist interim role with visible impact across reporting, statutory close and consolidation.
