About the role Step Forward Lombok is seeking a dedicated Full Time Accounting professional to join our finance team in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. This is a hybrid/work-from-home opportunity that offers flexibility whilst maintaining strong team collaboration. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial accounting and reporting functions that are essential to our operational and strategic objectives.

You will play a vital part in ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and the delivery of timely financial information to support decision-making across the organisation.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Reconcile bank statements, balance sheet accounts, and other financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Support the audit process by preparing documentation, schedules, and reconciliations as required
• Monitor and record financial transactions, ensuring proper classification and coding
• Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to support management decisions
• Maintain organised financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
• Identify and communicate discrepancies or irregularities in financial data promptly
• Collaborate with other finance team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency
• Stay current with changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and best practices in the industry

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders
• Ability to work independently whilst remaining collaborative and supportive of team objectives
• Knowledge of tax compliance and reporting requirements is advantageous
• Experience with remote or hybrid working arrangements and self-motivation are desirable
