About the Role
Our client seeks a diligent and detail-oriented Remote Corporate Accountant to bolster their finance operations, supporting entities associated with Centurion . This role demands a thorough understanding of corporate financial principles and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy in financial reporting. As a fully remote position, you will leverage technology to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders, ensuring seamless financial operations.
You will be responsible for a range of accounting tasks, including financial statement preparation, compliance, and contributing to the overall financial health and strategic direction of the company. - Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to GAAP/IFRS.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing accurate and organized financial data.
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and accounting systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- A professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, CA) is a significant advantage.
- At least 6 years of experience in corporate accounting, with a strong background in financial reporting.
- Expertise in accounting software (e.g., Net Suite, Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Solid knowledge of corporate finance principles and financial regulations.
- Strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication skills suitable for remote interaction.
