Remote Forensic Accountant

Our client is looking for a highly specialized and experienced Remote Forensic Accountant to join their fraud investigation and dispute resolution team. This role involves conducting detailed investigations into financial irregularities, fraud, and other forensic accounting matters, all from the comfort of a remote work setting. You will be responsible for analyzing complex financial data, tracing illicit transactions, and providing expert witness testimony when required.

This is a critical role for a professional who is adept at uncovering financial misconduct and can operate effectively in an independent, remote environment.

• Conduct forensic investigations into suspected financial fraud, asset misappropriation, and corruption.
• Analyze large volumes of financial data to identify discrepancies, patterns, and evidence of wrongdoing.
• Trace the flow of funds and reconstruct financial records to support legal proceedings.
• Prepare detailed forensic accounting reports outlining findings, methodologies, and conclusions.
• Liaise with legal counsel, law enforcement, and other stakeholders throughout investigations.
• Provide expert witness testimony in court or other legal forums regarding forensic findings.

• Advanced degree in Accounting or Forensic Accounting; CPA and CFE certifications are essential.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in forensic accounting, fraud investigation, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial investigation techniques and data analysis .
• Experience with specialized forensic accounting software and tools.
