A well-established £50m+ turnover construction contractor is looking to appoint an Assistant Purchase Ledger to join its friendly and supportive finance team at its modern Southwark office.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with a fantastic office culture, regular team social events, team-building days, and the flexibility to work from home 1–2 days per week following probation.

Key Responsibilities
 
* Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately.
 
* Matching, batching and coding invoices.
 
* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queries.
 
* Assisting with payment runs and maintaining supplier accounts.
 
* Liaising with site teams and subcontractors regarding invoice approvals.
 
* Supporting month-end finance processes.
 
* Maintaining accurate records within Sage.
 
* Providing general administrative support to the finance department.
Requirements
 
* Previous Purchase Ledger experience is essential.
 
* Experience using Sage accounting software.
 
* An Accounting qualification (AAT or equivalent) is desirable.
 
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
 
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
