Management Accountant About the Company A growing manufacturing business investing in the strength and structure of its Group Finance function to support continued scale-up and growth. The business places real emphasis on accurate, well-analysed financial information to support confident decision-making at every level, and is looking for a hands-on accountant ready to make a genuine impact on that journey.

The Role Sitting within the Group Finance team, this role plays a key part in preparing, developing and analysing financial information that the management team relies on to make well-informed decisions, supporting the business's future stability, growth and profitability. It's a genuinely varied role, blending management accounts and cost accounting with systems, compliance and cash flow responsibilities, ideal for someone who enjoys getting close to operational detail as well as financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts Lead the implementation of stock and management information systems Own cost accounting and the maintenance of production order handling and inventory systems Review and analyse production information Analyse financial performance and estimate/cost variances Maintain and review financial ledgers Support cash flow management and accounting transactions, including bank and cash book reconciliations Assist with the annual financial audit Support budgeting, forecasting, variance reporting and risk analysis Manage credit control, including financial investigation processes Prepare grant claims and statistical returns Record and maintain R&D and training programme information Complete compliance returns, including VAT and Intrastat Support cash flow forecasting and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports on the company's financial health and liquidity Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations What You'll Need Essential:
Qualified or part qualified (CAI, ICAEW, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) A minimum of 3 years' financial management experience Experience preparing monthly management accounts
