Senior Assurance Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Assurance Accountant to join our team. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals, united by a shared commitment to making a difference for our clients, communities, and each other.

• Lead and execute audit, review and assurance engagements
• Prepare and review T2 (corporate), T1 (personal), T3 (trust) tax returns as well as T4/T5 summaries and slips
• Prepare and review compilation engagement reports
• Assist partners with tax planning and compliances
• Mentor and train junior staff
• Other accounting, tax, and administrative duties, as required

• Canadian CPA designation
• Cashflow experience
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in public practice accounting and tax
• Great organization and communication skills
• Ability to excel in high-pressure working environments
• Can do attitude with the desire and ability to take on new tasks
• Experience working in a team-based environment
• The desire to grow your career in a mid-size public accounting firm

Job type:
Full-time, permanent.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday; flexible start and end times; 1 work from home day permitted per week.

Salary range: $65,000 - $90,000.
