Junior Financial Accountant

About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Financial Accountant to support their finance team in Bloemfontein . You will assist with daily accounting tasks, journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting financial reporting. • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and general ledger entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and intercompany account reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately.
• Support the senior accounting team with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Help in gathering data for audits and preparing financial analysis reports.
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related financial discipline.
• 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.
