Management Accountant

Due to continued growth, organically and via acquisitions, increasing business demands and an expanding UK operation, a newly created position has become available for an experienced Management Accountant to join the finance team. The role is predominantly home-based, with occasional travel required to businesses and sites across Yorkshire and the Northwest. You will have ownership of multiple entities where you will be responsible for:
Preparing monthly management accounts and management information. Supporting month-end reporting. Producing meaningful analysis of financial performance. Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis. Analysing costs, margins and profitability. Balance sheet reconciliations. Accruals and prepayments. WIP. Interrogating data. Other ad hoc duties as required.

The Person :
Strong Management Accounting experience is required. You will be commercially minded, inquisitive, and confident dealing with people outside of finance. You must be comfortable working autonomously in a predominantly home-based environment. Excellent Excel and financial systems skills are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
