This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting tasks, and ensuring the smooth financial functioning of the organization. The ideal candidate will be proficient with bookkeeping software, possess strong organizational skills, and be adept at managing financial documentation remotely.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Process invoices, expense reports, and payments in a timely manner.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations regularly.
• Assist with payroll processing and related filings.
• Prepare financial statements and reports as needed by management.
• Ensure compliance with bookkeeping policies and procedures.

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as Quick Books, Xero, or Sage.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and South African financial regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a remote setting.
