Payroll Specialist

Position: Sun Life Payroll Specialist - Hybrid Role
Become a Payroll Specialist with Sun Life on a 16-month contract. Process payroll for over 7,000 employees with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

In this pivotal role, you will report to the Senior Payroll Manager and handle the end-to-end processing of payroll. Your expertise in payroll accounting and tax regulations, combined with your communication skills, will ensure timely payroll disbursement and maintain confidentiality and compliance. This hybrid position allows for flexibility in work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage bi-weekly payroll processing for US employees

• Reconcile payroll to ensure accuracy

• Adhere to tax regulations during processing

• Maintain accurate payroll records and personnel data

• Support payroll audits and respond to inquiries

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or HR

• Minimum 2+ years in Payroll or related fields

• Knowledge of tax regulations and payroll processes

• Familiarity with ADP Global View or Workday preferred

• Strong communication and organizational abilities
