About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and analytical Audit Associate to join their assurance services team in Richards Bay . This role is instrumental in conducting financial audits for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and providing valuable insights into their financial health. You will work closely with senior auditors and clients, developing critical examination skills in a dynamic and client-facing capacity.

• Assist in planning and executing financial statement audits for various clients.
• Perform audit procedures, including testing internal controls and substantive testing of account balances.
• Gather and analyze audit evidence, documenting findings meticulously.
• Communicate effectively with client personnel to obtain necessary information and documentation.
• Prepare audit working papers and contribute to the drafting of audit reports.
• Stay updated on auditing standards, regulations, and industry best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in auditing or accounting.
• Good understanding of auditing principles and financial reporting frameworks (e.g., IFRS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
