Junior Accountant

About the Role

Our client is looking for an ambitious and diligent Junior Accountant to support their finance department in Port Elizabeth. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional eager to build a solid foundation in accounting. You will gain hands-on experience across various accounting functions, working closely with senior accountants and the finance manager. • Assist in processing accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger postings.
• Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and analyses.
• Help with auditing procedures and documentation.
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with data entry.
• Contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Some prior accounting internship or work experience is advantageous.
