Audit Associate

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Audit Associate to join their growing audit team in Nelspruit . This role involves assisting senior auditors in conducting financial and operational audits for a diverse range of clients. You will gain hands‑on experience in audit procedures, documentation, and analysis. This hybrid position allows for fieldwork at client sites and remote work for analysis and reporting, offering a dynamic and varied work experience within the accounting profession.

• Assist in planning and executing audit engagements under the guidance of audit managers.
• Gather and analyze financial data, documents, and records to identify discrepancies and risks.
• Prepare audit work papers, schedules, and summaries of findings.
• Communicate audit progress and preliminary findings to senior audit staff.
• Perform testing of internal controls and financial statement assertions.
• Stay updated on relevant accounting standards and audit regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and audit methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with audit software is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for client and team interaction.
