Accounts Administrator

Accounts Administrator Warrenpoint(Potential for Hybrid Working) We are delighted to be partnering with a growing engineering business to recruit an Accounts Administrator for their team based in Warrenpoint. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering a varied role across bookkeeping, payroll, invoicing and wider accounts administration. You'll take ownership of payroll across both Ireland and the UK, while supporting day-to-day finance activities and monthly internal audit procedures.

Key Responsibilities Process weekly/monthly payroll across both Ireland and the UK Manage PAYE, PRSI, Revenue submissions and statutory deductions Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and complete day-to-day accounts administration Prepare, issue and manage customer invoices Monitor customer payments and outstanding invoices Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records Support monthly internal audit procedures and ensure all documentation is complete Assist with wider finance and administrative duties as required Who We're Looking For Previous experience in a Bookkeeping, Payroll or Accounts Administration role Strong experience processing both Irish and UK payroll Experience using Xero Good knowledge of Revenue, PAYE, PRSI and payroll compliance Strong bookkeeping and invoicing experience Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Comfortable working independently while contributing to a wider team Strong communication skills and a proactive approach What's On Offer Competitive Salary Potential for hybrid/WFH working once fully trained and confident in the role Pension Early finish on Fridays Opportunity to take ownership of a varied finance position Growing and supportive working environment If you're an experienced Accounts Administrator with UK and Irish payroll experience and are looking for a varied role within a growing business, get in touch with Diarmuid for a confidential discussion.
