Customer Service - Work from Home

Our client is in the real estate industry. They are looking for a Manager of Financial Reporting to join their team!

• Prepare Board of Director and Audit Committee presentations
• Maintain a current knowledge base and keep abreast of developments which may impact (i.e. IFRS and Realpac)
• Oversee the quarterly close process, including the maintenance of internal controls over the system and any enhancements
• Maintaining internal control framework – control environment, risk assessment, control activities, communication and monitoring activities.
• Ensure compliance with all related tax authorities, including HST, PST, etc.
• Co-ordinate year-end audit and quarterly functions with external auditors and prepare all necessary review documents
• Demonstrate leadership competencies; with focus on attainment of goals and meeting established timelines
• Adhere to all government regulations policies and procedures

• Minimum of 3+ years of post-qualification experience
• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business related discipline
• Significant experience with external reporting, including the preparation of financial statements, notes, and consolidations Superior leadership and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to effectively communicate financial results to senior executives in a professional and confident manner
• Solid analytical and problem solving skills
• Extensive working knowledge of IFRS
• Strong working knowledge of general ledger and reporting systems
• Automotive sector and Real Estate industry experience is considered an asset

$110,000 - $125,000 / year
