About the Role

Our client, a reputable firm based in the scenic city of George , Western Cape , is actively seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to enhance their accounting team. • Perform complex accounting tasks, including financial statement preparation, tax computations, and audit support.
• Provide strategic financial advice and planning services to a portfolio of clients.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant South African tax legislation and accounting standards.
• Manage client relationships, acting as a primary point of contact for financial queries and needs.
• Conduct financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and investment opportunities.
• Oversee and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering their professional development.

• Must be a fully qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) or equivalent international qualification.
• Proven experience (minimum 3 years post-qualification) in a similar accounting or auditing role.
• In-depth knowledge of South African accounting standards (GRAP/IFRS) and tax laws.
• Experience with accounting software packages and advanced Excel proficiency is essential.
