Chartered Accountant

VANRATH are currently working with a highly regarded accountancy practice in Northern Ireland to recruit a Chartered Accountant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who is looking to take the next step in their practice career, with strong client exposure, a varied portfolio and genuine opportunities for progression.

The Role As a Chartered Accountant, you will work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, providing a range of accounting, audit and advisory services. The role will offer the opportunity to take ownership of client relationships while continuing to develop technically and professionally. What You Will Do
* Manage a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors and sizes
* Prepare and review statutory accounts and financial statements
* Lead and manage audit assignments from planning through to completion
* Prepare and review corporation tax computations and returns
* Provide clients with practical accounting and commercial advice
* Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients
* Support and supervise junior members of the team
* Assist with more complex accounting and advisory assignments
* Identify opportunities to add value across the client portfolio

* ACA or ACCA qualified
* Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment
* Strong experience across accounts and/or audit
* Good technical accounting knowledge
* Strong communication and client relationship skills
* Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
