Payroll Accountant; Fully Remote

• You'll own assigned payroll cycles end-to-end, from timecard close through reconciliation.
• You'll back up the Accounting Manager across all cycles.
• You'll process payroll, reconcile it to the GL, and catch compliance risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run assigned cycles for exempt and non-exempt employees, including overtime and bonuses.
• Process new hires, terminations, and pay changes, and review timecards.
• Prepare payroll journal entries and reconciliations for month-end close.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years owning full-cycle multi-state payroll processing.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax and wage-and-hour compliance.
