Remote Senior Accountant

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and self-directed Remote Senior Accountant to lead key financial functions from anywhere in South Africa. • Oversee and manage all aspects of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and analyze complex financial statements and reports according to GAAP.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial integrity and operational efficiency.
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff remotely.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Expertise in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
