Remote Senior Accountant

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join their finance department on a fully remote basis, based out of Cape Town . This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of the organization by managing complex accounting tasks, ensuring compliance, and providing insightful financial analysis. • Prepare and review accurate monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
• Manage the month-end close process, ensuring all deadlines are met.

• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Analyze financial data and provide management with actionable insights and recommendations.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; a professional qualification (e.g., CA(SA), ACCA) is preferred.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience, including experience with financial reporting.
• Proven experience with accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
