Seasonal Tax Preparer

ABC Bookkeeping & Business Support is seeking a Seasonal Tax Preparer to support our team during the remainder of the 2025 tax extension season and the upcoming 2026 tax filing season. This position offers the opportunity to work part-time during extension season and transition to a full-time schedule during the regular tax filing season.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience preparing individual and small business tax returns and be committed to delivering accurate, timely, and client-focused service. We are looking for a team member who can build relationships with clients, work independently, and contribute to a collaborative and professional environment.

Our firm utilizes Pro Series Tax and Tax Dome software. Preference will be given to candidates who are proficient with these applications.

Seasonal

• Part-time during the 2025 extension season (approximately August
  - October).
• Full-time (35-40 hours per week) during the 2026 tax filing season (January
  - April).
• Potential for continued seasonal employment in future tax seasons based on performance and business needs.

• Flexible part-time schedule during extension season.
• Full-time schedule during peak tax season.
• Additional hours may be available based on workload and deadlines.

• Ability to successfully pass a background and credit check.

• Proficiency with Pro Series Tax software.
• Experience using Tax Dome or similar client management software.
• Familiarity with cloud-based accounting and document management systems.
