Senior Auditor | Public Accounting | Houston / The Woodlands, TX
Are you a Senior Auditor looking to take the next step in your public accounting career - without the demands and bureaucracy of a large firm?
I'm currently working on a Senior Auditor opportunity with a growing CPA firm in Texas
, offering the chance to take ownership of audit engagements from planning through completion while working closely with Partners and clients.
- Lead audit engagements from start to finish
- Develop risk-based audit testing procedures
- Identify audit issues and recommend practical solutions
- Review audit evidence and financial statements
- Supervise and mentor junior auditors
- Work directly with clients and engagement teams
- Ensure compliance with professional auditing standards
- 3+ years of public accounting audit experience
- CPA licensed or actively pursuing the CPA
- Strong Excel skills
- Solid understanding of GAAS and financial statement preparation
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
