The Role This is an opportunity to join a progressive firm as a Tax Senior, working across Corporate and Personal Tax compliance in an approximately 50:50 split. The role would suit someone with solid tax compliance experience, ideally around three years in practice. While the firm would consider someone looking to study, relevant work experience is more important, and the preference is for someone who is not necessarily looking for a training contract.
There will be an element of training and supervision initially.
Key Responsibilities
· Complete Corporation Tax and Personal Tax returns
· Deal with HMRC correspondence and enquiries
· Complete tax computations
· Respond to client tax queries
· Support more complex tax matters with minimal support
· Contribute to the efficient and successful delivery of Corporate and Personal Tax services
· Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide exceptional client service
· Build relationships within the firm and externally with clients, supporting the identification of opportunities
· Day-to-day client liaison Requirements Essential
· Solid tax compliance experience within a practice environment, ideally with three or more years' relevant experience
· Ability to work to tight reporting deadlines
· Strong interpersonal skills with experience of meeting and speaking with clients Desirable
· ATT, CTA, ACCA or ACA qualification or part-qualification
· Experience across Corporate and Personal Tax What's In It For You · £34,000–£36,000 salary, with flexibility for an exceptional candidate
· 22 days' annual leave plus 11 public holidays

· 36.25 hours per week, with flexible start times between 8:00 am and 10:00 am and a latest finish of 6:00 pm
· Average working day of 7.25 hours, with the option to finish earlier on Fridays if additional hours are worked during the week, subject to client needs; minimum Friday hours are 9:00 am–1:00 pm
· Up to two days working from home following probation
