We're looking for a detail-oriented, dependable, and organized Payroll & Finance Assistant to join our Finance team in a fully remote role.

You’ll work closely with both Finance and Human Resources, supporting semi-monthly payroll, expense tracking, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and month-end activities. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, takes pride in getting the details right, and can be trusted with sensitive employee and financial information.

• Process semimonthly payroll accurately and on time
• Partner with Human Resources to review timecards and identify discrepancies before payroll is finalized
• Help address questions related to pay, deductions, and pay stubs
• Maintain organized payroll records and supporting documentation
• Identify and elevate unusual adjustments, discrepancies, or unresolved payroll issues appropriately

• Track and categorize company expenses, credit card transactions, and employee reimbursements
• Collect, organize, and digitally maintain receipts and supporting documentation
• Follow up on missing receipts and incomplete expense submissions
• Help ensure company purchases and reimbursements have complete supporting records
• Identify coding or documentation discrepancies and route questions to Finance leadership when needed

• Accurately enter approved expenses, bills, and transactions into Quick Books Online
• Assign expenses to appropriate accounts, classes, and projects
• Assist with monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
• Help prepare basic financial reports and supporting schedules
• Support month-end close by gathering documentation, reviewing transactions, and resolving routine discrepancies
• Maintain clean, organized electronic records that support internal review and audit readiness

• Pay Range: $22.00-$31.00 per hour
