Reconciliations Clerk

Remote Recruitment is hiring for a Reconciliations Clerk for a UK based employer. The role owns the month end reconciliation cycle and maintaining accurate bank, supplier and ledger balances from a fully remote setup in South Africa.

• Reconcile bank, credit card and supplier statements to the ledger
• Investigate and clear unmatched items and differences
• Post journals and correcting entries accurately
• Maintain a clean reconciliation schedule for month end
• Flag recurring discrepancies to the finance lead

• Experience reconciling bank or supplier accounts in Xero, Quick Books or Sage
• Strong Excel skills, including lookups and filters
• A careful, numbers first approach
• Clear written English for query emails
• Reliable broadband and a quiet home workspace
• Nice to have familiarity with Dext or Hubdoc and multi currency month end exposure
