Remote Tax Accountant

• Prepare and review corporate income tax returns, VAT returns, and other tax filings.
• Conduct tax research and provide advice on tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
• Identify and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the company's tax position.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant domestic and international tax laws and regulations.
• Liaise with tax authorities and manage any tax audits or inquiries.
• Stay current with changes in tax legislation and advise the business accordingly.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation; H.Dip Tax or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate tax accounting and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of South African tax law and international tax principles.
• Proficiency in tax software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a remote environment .
