Partnership Accountant The Opportunity Abacus Careers is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Partner Accounting Manager to join a leading international professional services organisation with a strong presence across the UK and Europe.  This is an excellent opportunity to play a high-profile, key role within a specialist team. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, partners, banks, legal advisers, auditors and internal finance teams, contributing to a critical function within a highly respected organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing Manage partner distributions, earnings, drawings payments and account reconciliations

Prepare drawings statements, journals and partner benefits postings

Oversee partnership capital contributions, loans and repayment processes

Maintain and reconcile partner capital general ledger accounts

Manage partner joiner, mover and retiree processes, including retirement calculations and earnings confirmations

Act as the main point of contact for partner profit and capital queries

Support year-end audit requirements and preparation of annual partner statements

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support finance-related project work

What We’re Looking For Qualified Accountant or Qualified By Experience Accountant Proven experience working in a legal or professional services environment Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and partners

Strong attention to detail with a methodical and organised approach

Proactive, flexible and capable of working independently and as part of a team
