Financial Accountant

Our client is looking for a meticulous Financial Accountant to join their dedicated team, offering a remote work opportunity with key responsibilities based in Centurion . This role will focus on maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the month-end close process. You will play a vital part in the preparation of financial statements and ad-hoc financial reporting.

• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts accurately and timely.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and accompanying schedules.

• Process journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
• Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting or general accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS).
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills are required.
