Commercial Real Estate AP​/AR Accountant – Yardi Voyager

We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Real Estate AP/AR Accountant – Yardi Voyager with strong commercial real estate accounting experience and extensive Yardi Voyager 7s/8 expertise. This role manages full-cycle AP/AR and day-to-day accounting for approximately 50 commercial and retail properties across 13 states
, while supporting related compliance and administrative activities.

• Mon-Fri 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Pacific Standard Time includes 30-minute unpaid break

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable for a multi-property portfolio.
• Process, code, route, and reconcile high-volume invoices across multiple entities using Yardi Voyager 7s/8.
• Support weekly check runs and ensure timely, accurate vendor payments.
• Process daily commercial rent payments via ACH, wire, and check
  .
• Maintain tenant ledgers, monitor arrears, and follow up on outstanding rent, CAM, and percentage rent.
• Support NNN accounting, CAM reconciliations, and percentage-rent sales reporting in Yardi.
• Reconcile vendor statements, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate resolutions.
• Process and track property taxes, utilities, insurance, and other property-related expenses.
• Support annual 1099 preparation and filing and vendor onboarding, including W-9 collection.
• Track property taxes, contracts, insurance requirements, business licenses, and other compliance deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records for multiple entities and properties across multiple states.
• Assist with entity filings, renewals, Statements of Information, and related compliance requirements.
• Handle financial and property information with a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and discretion

• 3+ years of AP/AR accounting experience
  , preferably within commercial real estate.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager 7s/8 is required.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume AP/AR across multiple properties, entities, or locations.
• Strong knowledge of commercial real estate accounting, including tenant ledgers, rent collections, NNN, CAM, percentage rent, and reconciliations

• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and accuracy while managing competing deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with multi-state properties and financial operations is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of compliance administration, entity renewals, business licenses, COIs, vendor documentation, and property tax tracking is an advantage.
• Professional, dependable, and comfortable working with senior accounting and leadership teams.

• Portfolio: Approximately 50 commercial and retail properties across 13 states
• Primary focus: Full-cycle AP/AR and commercial property accounting using Yardi Voyager
• Secondary focus: Multi-entity compliance and administrative support
• Reports to: President, Senior Property Accountant, and Commercial Controller
• Serves as a key accounting resource responsible for maintaining accurate, timely, and up-to-date financial records.
