Tax Manager Level II

Responsibilities Executes various accounting and tax projects supervised by senior staff.

Demonstrates proficiency in technical abilities and adherence to professional standards.

Guides and supports team members in completing tasks and reviewing working papers.

Organizes and catalogues working papers; conducts audits to validate client financial data in compliance with accounting principles.

Prepares complex tax documents as well as filings for dissolution or liquidation.

Proposes tax planning strategies to senior team members for consideration.

Drafts routine client communications for partner approval and signs management letters.

Manages junior accountants and assistants by assigning tasks, providing instructions, reviewing work, and requesting revisions as needed.

Qualifications Proficiency in public accounting with three to five (3 to
5) years of experience showing progression in accounting complexity and tax expertise.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or master’s degree in accounting.

Completion of at least forty (40) hours of professional development per year.

Active CPA license or in process of obtaining by passing state CPA exam.

AICPA membership in good standing for licensed individuals.
