Responsibilities Review and approve complex tax returns and audits.

Serve as a key expert in tax and industry matters.

Take charge of large tax returns and supervise tax preparers as necessary.

Manage client relationships and oversee government tax audits.

Coach and mentor staff and assist in recruitment efforts.

Ensure accurate and timely tax return processing.

Handle billing, collections, and additional projects as needed.

Research and assess tax software for firm recommendation.

Contribute to firm growth through networking and community involvement.

Qualifications Demonstrated understanding of current tax laws.

Proficiency in tax preparation and planning software.

Willingness to work overtime, especially during tax season.

Seven to ten years of public accounting experience.

Experience representing clients before tax authorities.

Previous supervisory experience in tax preparation.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, master’s preferred.

Maintain CPA license and AICPA membership.

Continuing education to enhance technical skills.
