Approximately 10 weeks during tax season. 24-40 hours a week based on employee preference and company needs.
What We're Looking For- We are seeking an experienced individual tax preparer who can prepare simple to complex 1040s.
- We are seeking a tax preparer who can identify missing or inconsistent information, compare the return to prior years, and complete the return with minimal corrections.
- CPA or EA credentials are preferred but not required. Experience using Drake Tax is a plus. Productivity and accuracy are a must.
- This is a seasonal position expected to run for approximately during the 2027 tax season with training beginning in mid-January. Remote work is an option. We prefer a consistent schedule with some availability during business hours.
- Prepare tax returns
- File individual 1040 tax returns
- Invoice/collect payments
- Interact with clients
