• Draft clear, well-supported technical accounting memos and position papers for complex or judgmental transactions, including new products, M&A activity, financing arrangements, and other non-routine...
• Monitor emerging accounting guidance issued by the FASB, SEC, and PCAOB; assess impact on the company; and lead implementation of new standards, including drafting...
• Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors on technical accounting matters, leading discussions and resolving complex issues efficiently
• Partner with Legal, Treasury, Revenue, FP&A, and business unit leaders to evaluate the accounting implications of new contracts, deal structures, and strategic initiatives before...
• Support M&A activity, including purchase accounting, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration from a technical accounting perspective

Requirements & Details:
• Experience with digital assets/cryptocurrency accounting, including familiarity with ASC 350-60, token economics, DeFi, staking, and other blockchain-native transaction structures
• Public company experience, including direct interaction with external auditors
• Experience with M&A transaction accounting and purchase accounting
• Experience with system implementations affecting accounting processes (e.g., ERP, revenue systems)
• Prior people-management or mentorship experience

Salary: $181,713 — $261,727
