AP Supervisor

Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 per year

We are North Americas largest provider of plumbing repair and drain cleaning services. We have 20 company-owned locations and more than 500 independent franchises in the U.S. and Canada. Our Cincinnati office manages the company-owned plumbing service locations, which oversee independent franchises and manufactures our drain cleaning machines, drain cleaning cables, blades and other equipment.

The position of “Accounts Payable Supervisor offers a challenging opportunity for an individual who can perform well in a fast paced, high-volume, team-oriented environment. Good communication skills are essential as this position supervises 3-4 individuals and will interact extensively with other Accounts Payable Representatives located in our various field operations as well as outside vendors. The individual will be part of the Home Office Accounts Payable Department and will report directly to the Accounts Payable Manager.

Job responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:

• 1099 build, review, correction, filing
• Leases setup, review and update to ASC
  842 Lease Query
• New vendor setup
• ACH setup and verification – employees and vendors
• Splitting Tronitech imaged batches and invoice processing
• Check run, ACH files including sending and releasing with the bank
• Voids, Garnishments and ACH returns
• Positive pay and uncashed check research

It is important that this person is capable, and comfortable, working in a problem-solving capacity. We are looking for a reliable, self-starter who takes ownership of a process or function with a view to making on-going improvements. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel will be valuable. Any JDEdwards, Tronitech or Lease Query exposure is desirable.
