Our client is looking for a proficient Group Accountant to join their finance division in Sandton

This role is central to consolidating financial information across multiple entities within the group, ensuring accuracy and compliance with group reporting standards. You will play a key part in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, providing critical insights to senior management. • Consolidate financial statements for all group entities in accordance with group policies and IFRS.
• Manage intercompany transactions, eliminations, and reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of consolidated budgets and forecasts for the group.
• Perform detailed financial analysis of group performance, identifying trends and providing commentary.
• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements across all jurisdictions.
• Support the group's internal and external audit processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA(SA), CIMA) is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in group accounting or consolidation.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and consolidation principles.
• Proficiency with consolidation software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
