Accounts Assistant Manager

An established accountancy practice is seeking an ACA/ACCA-qualified Assistant Manager with at least four years’ practice experience and 1–2 years post-qualification.

The firm serves a diverse portfolio of individuals, entrepreneurs and owner-managed businesses across film, television, theatre, property, motor sport, retail, charities and technology
.

• Prepare and review statutory accounts (FRS 102/105), corporation tax returns and personal tax returns.
• Manage client portfolios, relationships, deadlines and statutory filings.
• Provide technical accounting and tax advice, supporting wider advisory projects.
• Review and mentor junior staff, oversee workflow and identify process improvements.
• Assist with creative industry tax relief and tax credit claims for film, TV and theatre clients.

• ACA/ACCA qualified with 1–2 years’ post-qualification experience and at least four years in practice.
• Strong technical, communication and client management skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Experience with CCH, Xero, Quick Books and Microsoft Office desirable.
• Personal tax experience and an interest in creative industries or tax reliefs advantageous.
