Join MHA as an Audit Junior apprentice. You’ll gain hands‑on experience working with a variety of clients, build your audit and accounting skills, and study towards AAT Level 4 and ACA Level 7 qualifications, with full study support and mentoring throughout your programme.

Training schedule
You’ll train through a combination of practical on-the-job experience, structured study and support from experienced colleagues. From day one, you’ll work on real audit and accounts assignments, developing your skills by working alongside your team and learning directly from experienced professionals.

Your training will include areas such as audit planning, analytical reviews, preparing accounts, producing financial statements and drafting client communications. You’ll also spend time working with different clients, both in MHA offices and at client sites, helping you build your technical knowledge, confidence and understanding of how different businesses operate.

Alongside your practical experience, you’ll study towards recognised professional qualifications, progressing through AAT Level 4 and ACA Level 7. MHA will provide a full study support package, including tuition, exam fees, study materials and dedicated study leave.

Throughout the programme, you’ll receive regular guidance, feedback and mentoring to support your development and help you progress towards becoming a qualified accounting professional.

Our flexible working policy gives you greater choice over how you structure your day. With core hours of 10.00am - 2.00pm, you can start earlier or finish later to suit your needs, alongside the option to work from home up to two days a week.

30 days’ holiday, including bank holidays, plus the opportunity to buy up to 5 days.

Successful completion of the apprenticeship can lead to a long‑term career in Audit  your experience and qualifications grow, you can progress from Audit Junior into more senior roles, taking on greater responsibility for client work, supporting junior colleagues and managing sections of audits, with opportunities to continue developing towards management and beyond.
