Senior Accountant

Position: Senior Accountant - Hybrid Role
Micromine seeks a Senior Accountant for its Vancouver office, supporting financial operations across Canada and the US. Use your expertise in accounting and AI to modernize finance processes.

This hybrid role involves managing complex accounting for diverse entities and currencies in the Americas. As a senior professional, you will enhance accuracy and reliability while shaping finance processes using AI and automation. This position also offers the chance to mentor junior colleagues and build regional influence within a global mining software leader.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee high-impact accounting for Canada and US operations

• Improve financial controls and reporting accuracy

• Implement AI and automation in finance workflows

• Collaborate with stakeholders across various functions

• Guide junior team members and mentor colleagues

Requirements:

• CPA designation or equivalent accounting qualification

• Minimum five years of progressive accounting experience

• Proficiency with Net Suite or comparable ERP systems

• Advanced skills in Excel and financial reporting

• Experience managing complex operating environments
