Senior Tax Associate

Kforce's client, aregional CPA firm in Juno Beach, FL seeks a Senior Tax Associate. The role is 4 days in the office & 1 day work from home. This firm offers a good work life balance & opportunity to work on a diverse industries and opportunity to advance. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns
• Complete adjusting entries to the trial balance, as necessary to prepare the tax returns
• Complete tax return adjustments for book-to-tax reconciliation, and accrual to cash conversions
• Identify tax planning opportunities and provide strategic consulting to clients
• Conduct tax research and draft memoranda on tax issues
• Supervise and train junior staff and interns, assist with tax planning, and participate in client management
• Manage multiple client engagements and ensure timely delivery of services
• Assist in resolving tax controversies and communicating with tax authorities
• Participate in firm enhancement, marketing efforts, and various projects and initiatives beyond core responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting;
  Master's in Taxation preferred
• CPA preferred
• 3-5 years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax
• Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations
• Proficiency in tax software (CCH Axcess, Pro System fx) and Microsoft Office

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
