• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with established accounting standards.
• Review general ledger activity, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Support audit preparation, internal controls, and compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, improve reporting accuracy, and implement best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address financial questions and resolve complex accounting issues.
• Manage multiple projects and competing deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Proactively recommend improvements to accounting workflows, reporting, and internal processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• CPA designation and/or advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in a regional or corporate finance and accounting role preferred.
• Background in restaurant, retail, hospitality, or multi-location operations is a plus.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles, financial reporting, and month-end close procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with accounting systems and ERP platforms preferred.
• Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
