Junior Accountant - Remote

As a Junior Accountant, you will gain hands‑on experience in various accounting functions, supporting the accounting department in maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with daily operations. You will work closely with senior accounting staff, learning and contributing to tasks such as bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and assisting with financial reporting. • Assist with daily bookkeeping and data entry tasks.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices and payments.
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Help prepare financial statements and management reports under supervision.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
• Assist with audit preparations by gathering necessary information.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial matters.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
• Learn and apply accounting principles and software efficiently.
• Contribute to process improvements within the accounting department.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or currently pursuing such a degree.
• Previous internship or entry-level experience in an accounting role is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting.
