Audit Clerk

Our client requires a diligent Audit Clerk to support their internal audit department in Welkom . This role is crucial for assisting in the examination of financial records, operational processes, and internal controls to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. You will work closely with senior auditors, gaining valuable experience in the audit field. The position offers a blend of in-office collaboration and remote work, providing flexibility while ensuring thorough audit procedures are followed for the Welkom operations.

• Assist in conducting financial and operational audits under the guidance of senior auditors.
• Review and document internal control procedures and identify potential weaknesses.
• Perform testing of transactions and balances to verify accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare audit working papers and summarize findings.
• Communicate with auditees to gather information and clarify issues.

• National Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Auditing.
• 1-2 years of experience in an audit or accounting environment.
• Basic understanding of internal controls and auditing principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
