Finance Assistant RI Cruden Ltd

RI Cruden Ltd is looking for a Finance Assistant to join its finance team at the company’s Inverness office.
This position would suit someone with previous accounts experience who enjoys working with figures, keeping financial records accurate and supporting the day-to-day running of a growing business.

• Process supplier and subcontractor invoices accurately and on time.
• Carry out bank account reconciliations.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate customer and supplier records.
• Maintain Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) records.
• Assist with VAT returns.
• Support the preparation of year-end accounts.
• Assist with management accounts as required.
• Support the day-to-day administration of the finance function.

Full time, 40 hours per week.
Based at the company’s Seafield Road office in Inverness.
Flexible working arrangements may be available following an initial induction period.

Previous experience in a finance or accounts role is essential.
Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial information.
Ability to maintain organised financial records.

Experience with in the construction or mechanical and electrical engineering sector would be advantageous.
Knowledge of CIS and VAT processes would be beneficial.
Experience using Xero or similar accounting software would be helpful.
