Our client, is seeking a Accountant, technicien comptable to join their team. As a Accountant, technicien comptable, you will be part of the Finance Department. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to month-end close, and the confidence to work with ERP systems and IFRS-based accounting.
Location:
Granby, QC
Pay Range: $55000 - $65000
What's the Job?
Book journal entries in SAP based on IFRS
Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting to HQ
Prepare quarter-end closing package footnotes
Categorize transactions by CoA (Chart of Accounts) and handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations
Prepare and file sales tax returns, and assist with sales tax and statutory audits
What's Needed?
1–3 years of experience in accounting
Experience with journal entries and account reconciliations
Experience with month-end closing and financial statement preparation
Experience with intercompany transactions
Good knowledge of SAP (FI/CO modules preferred) and general accounting principles and IFRS; basic knowledge of cost accounting using IFRS and Canada/Quebec tax law
