WFH Inside Sales - Sales

Our client, is seeking a Accountant, technicien comptable to join their team. As a Accountant, technicien comptable, you will be part of the Finance Department. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to month-end close, and the confidence to work with ERP systems and IFRS-based accounting.

• Book journal entries in SAP based on IFRS
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting to HQ
• Prepare quarter-end closing package footnotes
• Categorize transactions by CoA (Chart of Accounts) and handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Prepare and file sales tax returns, and assist with sales tax and statutory audits

• 1–3 years of experience in accounting
• Experience with journal entries and account reconciliations
• Experience with month-end closing and financial statement preparation
• Experience with intercompany transactions
• Good knowledge of SAP (FI/CO modules preferred) and general accounting principles and IFRS; basic knowledge of cost accounting using IFRS and Canada/Quebec tax law

• Work on end-to-end accounting activities, from journal entries to month-end closing and audit support
• Build strong expertise in IFRS-based accounting and SAP-driven reporting
• Contribute directly to sales tax return preparation and filing, including audit readiness
• Develop deeper understanding of intercompany reconciliations and CoA transaction categorization
• Collaborate with HQ through monthly financial statement reporting and quarter-end deliverables
