Remote Accountant - Cycle

• Manage all aspects of the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and collection.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) and local tax regulations.
• Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA(SA), ACCA, CIMA) is a strong asset.
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong emphasis on full-cycle accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Xero, SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote setting, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues and management remotely.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
