Accounting Supervisor - Remote; FL

The HR Superheroes is recruiting on behalf of our client for this role. The is a full time remote position however, only candidates physically living/working in FL will be considered.

The Accounting Supervisor is a full-time role responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This position manages the preparation and review of financial statements, supervises accounting staff, and monitors accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities. The supervisor will maintain and improve accounting processes, ensure timely month-end and year-end close, and collaborate with leadership to provide clear financial insights that support decision-making.

This is a remote role requiring strong coordination with distributed team members and adherence to established accounting policies and procedures.

• Strong understanding of Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, with the ability to review, analyze, and present results clearly.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills and Finance knowledge to interpret data and support strategic recommendations.
• Proficiency with Accounting Software and related tools for managing ledgers, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Minimum of 5 years progressive corporate accounting experience and minimum of 1 year experience supervising accounting or finance staff in a professional environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or similar certification is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and internal control best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
