is hiring a Government Audit Manager to support its Mankato or Plymouth, MN location. This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid or fully remote work environment for those who reside in Minnesota.
As a Government Audit Manager
, you would be responsible for leading governmental audit and assurance engagements for cities, school districts, townships, and other public-sector entities throughout Minnesota.

- Lead governmental audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion
- Manage financial statement audits and single audits for governmental and public-sector clients
- Review audit work papers, financial statements, and engagement documentation
- Develop strong, long-term client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor beyond the annual audit
- Manage engagement timelines, budgets, staffing, and deliverables
- Mentor, coach, and develop staff and senior-level audit professionals
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations clearly to clients, governing boards, and management teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
- 2+ years of experience leading teams performing government audits
