Tax Senior​/Manager​/Senior Manager

Our client is a public accounting firm. They seek a Tax Senior or Manager to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for high-net-worth individuals and partnership clients

Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term client relationships

Deliver strategic tax planning and consulting services, providing proactive advice on financial decisions

Respond to client inquiries and provide comprehensive support for their financial goals

Research tax issues and stay updated on changes in laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities

Oversee and review the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and trusts

Verify accuracy and compliance of all tax filings

Prepare tax projections and extensions to support client financial decisions

Lead, mentor, and train a team of tax professionals, supervising junior staff and interns

Manage multiple engagements, delegating tasks and reviewing work to ensure deadlines, quality, and accuracy are metRequirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, or Master’s of Taxation Experience in public accounting, specifically with HNWI and partnerships

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficient with tax software and tax research databases

Excellent written and verbal communication skillsCPA preferred
